Meet the newest sorority member

Ok, so it's been a long while since last I updated. I suppose it's more or less because that defense mechanism has come back so I've been decently happy. Crystal and I have agreed to a new room schedule now. I have it from 6 to 9 and she gets it from 9 to midnight. Jerrod is the one who suggested it. And over the course of the week it's been in place, things have gone well. Once 9 rolls around, Jerrod and I leave and go to the '80 where I either grab a sub from dinner or 4 candy bars because I ate in my room. Then we go to his room where we usually find at least Chris and Rachel if not Jeremiah as well. I work on my homework, Jerrod and Chris both play games, Rachel tries to read, and Jeremiah makes comments on the games. I admit that sometimes I get bored simply because I can't work on my homework for that long without a break to do something else. So, every now and then, I hijack Jerrod's computer.

Now for some other exciting news....I'M GONNA BE AN AOII!! WAHOO! Last Tuesday, I was given my bid by Mandy. I almosted started to cry I was so happy. I didn't believe I would recieve a bid this year. I had 24 hours to decide and then give my response. Of course, I accepted it the next day and was told that the following day would be my shirting. Jerrod had problems with it though. He's against Greek organizations. It was very obvious that he didn't really want me to join. Jerrod was worried I suppose about what would happen to me for joining. About hazing. He was also worried that I would change. He was scared that I wouldn't get to spend as much time with him and that I would start keeping secrets from him. I've tried reassuring him over and over again that everything will be ok. It seems that now that he knows some of what's going on (as far as times and initiations and whatnot goes) he's feeling a lot better. Jerrod just seems to be a lot happier now...which just goes to make me a lot happier too.

So I was shirted Thursday night. I asked that Kramsler be the one to shirt me because she was the one who worked so hard to get me into AOII to begin with. She just wanted me to be a part so badly that I had to ask for her to be the one. But of course....she put the shirt on backwards! Ah well....we were all just so excited that it didn't really matter.

Tonight, I'm getting my big. I have no idea who it is, but I'm really excited. I got my half of the poem earlier today.

Crystal left for the weekend so I'm sure you can imagine what that means. He was here both nights. And they were awesome. Jerrod actually watched some Freddy Krueger with me. We played some chess and watched some anime. The first night we ordered cheesesticks too. Very good I must say. I went out and bought myself some Ranch for future cheestickness too. The second night poor Jerrod's allergies started acting up and so spent a good portion of it blowing his nose and sniffling.

Right at the moment, I can't wait for spring break. Jerrod is coming home with me and I've got some plans. Him and P-chan have a bit of a rivalry goin' on with DDR. It's kind of fun sitting here talking to them both and relaying messages....of course it's "trash talk." Each about how good they are at DDR and what not. I can't wait to see them go at it. I believe they're both really good...but I've never watched P-chan play like I have Jerrod. It should be interesting though. And bowling...and of course, he has to meet Swartz. It's only a week away...not really even that far....more like 5 days. :D

That's all for now kiddies! Peace!
