stupid downs...grrrr

January 31, 2004 at 6:53 p.m.

Yesterday was a roller coaster for me...not a fun one either. Stupid life with its ups and downs. No...I take that back...stupid life with its downs! I like the ups.....

So yeah, I got a grand total of five hours of sleep Thursday night, which is more than I'm actually used to for a Monday, Wednesday, Friday shtick, but still not enough to keep me from being sleepy. I went to class even though it was about 3 degrees outside with a couple inches of snow. Took a lot for me to make it too...I just wanted to crawl back into bed, but I've been doing that too much as of late and needed to go to class. In calculus though, I couldn't pay attention. Dr. Choate just isn't very good at explaining things......so.....I sorta drew a little comic type of strip with stick figures....and a tomato with a body...You'll just hafta check out Tomato-Head here if you wanna see my madness. I thought it was entertaining.... After Calculus though, I went to work, where I ended up staying through Latin. Oh well....I'm doing alright in Latin. It won't matter if I miss a day.

But then I went to lunch, where I sat with Jerrod and his friends (and a few of my own friends). Sometimes, I get the this strong feeling from him that he just wants me to go somewhere else when I do happen to eat with him. I got that feeling Friday. Not sure why, it was just overwhelming. So for a while, I felt sorta sad I guess. Jerrod could tell something was bothering me, but I chose not to tell him. Of course, when he reads this entry, he'll find out any way. Oh well. After lunch though, I went back to his room with him where we ended up playing some Scrabble. He won the first game, I won the second. (It's always great to score off of a Q twice...:D) And great fun was had by all. ^^ After Jerrod tackled me and got into a tickling wrestling match, we left the room so he could eat and I could go back to my room.

Once I got back to my room, my mom called and I found out some unsettling news. It would seem the IRS called my dad the other day. They're going to garnish his wages for the money my parents owe. (Which will NEVER be completely paid off mind you.) A sheriff will also be coming to our house and going through my parents things. They'll hold a sheriff's auction to help collect some of the astronomical amount of money my parents owe. I'm sort of worried that they'll try to take some of my things too. Most of it, I don't care all that much about...it's things like the jewelry box my grandmother gave me right before she passed away that I'm worried about. I don't think they can try to take my things since it's not my debt. But all of that is actually beside the point. I'm most worried about my parents and how they're going to react. My dad tends to start feeling like a failure, which he's not. He's trying his hardest to make it through all of this and that's what counts. I think I'm more worried about him than I am about my mom.

So, I was all stressed out about that for a long while. Until Jerrod and I left to go see Cabaret, a production held by the choirs of Transy. It was interesting...reminded me a lot of Choir-o-Rama...only not quite as good, or long. There was one song, "That's Amore" where the main guy that was singing it held a pot out to the girls in the first row, giving them a rose. Guess who was sitting in the front row. :D So the first flower I got since I started dating Jerrod was from another guy. lol I picked on him about it all night. Great fun I tells ya.

Crystal ended up going home for the weekend so Jerrod stayed the night last night as well. We stayed up til a little after 7 in the morning chatting and, of course, making out. :D again. I think we got about 3 hours of sleep I do believe....but it's what all we talked about that's important.

After we crawled into the bed to actually try to get some sleep, Jerrod kissed me on the cheek a couple of times and then leaned in further and whispered "I love you" into my ear. I'm glad he said it though...I've been having the urge to tell him the same for almost 2 weeks now. We progressed a little further and that's all I'm sharing.

I also had an interesting conversation with P-chan and Swartz over messenger. I meant to save it and share, but stupid me closed the box. Dammit....Ah well...Those two cracked me up and made me feel a little better from my day. Somethin' about Swartz bein' drunk and dancing with a beer bottle shoved up his ass. And, of course, the conversation veered off into the perverted state, which was great fun. *sigh* I love those two to death....they always make me laugh. Especially when they're together. And the challenge has been wrought between P-chan and Jerrod on DDR. Much ass kicking has been promised and I can't wait to see it. Stupid spring break being all the way in March. Oh well....at least Jerrod will be able to come home with me for it. ^^

I'm out....Jerrod just arrived not too long ago and he's here for the night again! Yayness!

Peace!
